Share availability, not your private life
OpenHour needs the timing of selected calendar events to determine whether you are free, but your friends do not need every event title. Privacy mode can hide event names and show only the availability signal, and the schedule page lets you preview that friends' view.

How it works
Choose calendar sources
Connect only supported accounts and calendars you want OpenHour to use.
Set event-name privacy
Hide labels when friends only need to know whether the time is occupied.
Preview and adjust
Switch between your detailed view and the friends' availability view before sharing.
What friends may see
Visibility depends on your settings and relationship context. A friend may see that a time is busy without seeing the event name, description, or other private calendar content.
What OpenHour uses
OpenHour processes the selected calendar data needed to synchronize schedules and calculate availability. Connected-calendar credentials are protected and can be disconnected in the app. The full legal description is available in the Privacy Policy.

Your controls
You can change privacy settings, disconnect calendar sources, revoke device permissions, delete eligible content, and delete your account using available in-app controls.
Common questions
Does OpenHour sell calendar data?
No. The OpenHour Privacy Policy states that personal and connected-calendar data are not sold or used for third-party advertising.
Can I disconnect a calendar?
Yes. Connected calendar sources can be disconnected from the app.
